Nice!
Nice finds SHOELESSJOE3!
Oh man, HOW could they screw up his glove like that?
They should have corrected it. I mean, that statue is going to be there a LONG time...why not make it correct? (I know....money).

I guess thats the reason, quite a job to correct that mistake. Add to that it will probably not be noticed by most.

Incredible shot of "The Pride Of The Yankees"
This is just an amazing picture taken during the filming of "The Pride Of The Yankees". That's the Babe shaking hands with Gary Cooper in the middle during a re-creation of Lou Gehrig Appreciation Day.
Plus, a picture of The Babe exiting the dugout during the filming of another scene in the movie......and a picture of Bob Meusel, Christy Walsh & The Babe at Wrigley Field (Los Angeles) during another filming day for "The Pride Of the Yankees".
Cheers! ~B
(even MORE to come.....)

They did have some friction in their career when the women in their lives faced off but I believe they both cared very much for each other, they showed it on that day.
Regardless of what woman was right or wrong it's a shame it caused Babe and Lou to get some distance between them.
What choice did Lou or Babe have, they had to take sides.
