Johnny Evers, 1903
It had long bothered me that I could not find an image of Evers on the field, in the 1903 uniform, aside from the group photos. (A photo published in a St. Louis newspaper that year may have been from 1902.) Here he is in an image from the Boston Post, May 21st, 1903, wearing the banded cap that was only worn during that season.
