I'm always searching for Lou photos. No, that's one of the clubhouse guys.

I thought Orlando sounded familiar, he was the clubhouse manager for the Bosox for 30 years or so and also a great friend of Ted Williams. Ted seemed to be most comfortable with regular folks, perhaps excepting his glamorous model wives...he sure didn't hobnob with Sinatra, Gleason, and Marilyn like DiMaggio did. There's a rumor that Ted spread Orlando's ashes in LF at Fenway against management's wishes.

Yeah, it was an amazingly understated event (in all reality). I don't think anybody realized what an impact it would have.

I'm doing some research on Gehrig and wondering if anybody has ever come across more shots of Gehrig in his Columbia University days. There's really the stock 3 that most people know about, but outside of that I've yet to come across any more. I figured this might be a good place to ask around. Thanks in advance for any help you guys might be able to offer.

Lou taking a cut during spring training, probably in St. Petersburgh where the Yankess did their training from 1924 to 1942.

I don't know the when or where about this one. I'm guessing it's during spring training.
