Spring Training, 1904 - George Browne (above) and Leon (Red) Ames (below)

These photos are from the scrapbook of ballplayer Matty McIntyre and are currently available at RMY Auctions.
(I've flipped the Ames image so that it displays correctly; it had been printed in reverse.)

Formal group portrait probably taken at the start of the 1905 season

Top Row (L-R): Hooks Wiltse (P), Bill Clarke (C/1B), Frank Bowerman (C), Christy Mathewson (P), Dan McGann (1B), Joe McGinnity (P).
Middle Row (L-R): Roger Bresnahan (C), Sammy Strang (2B/RF), Red Ames (P), Bob Hall (RF)*, Mike Donlin (CF), Art Devlin (3B), Claude Elliott (P).
Bottom Row (L-R): Billy Gilbert (2B), Sam Mertes (LF), Dummy Taylor (P), John McGraw (Mgr.), Doc Marshall (DNP-C)**, Bill Dahlen (SS), George Browne (RF).
*Bob Hall appeared in one game for New York in April and was then lent to Brooklyn for the remainder of the season.
**Doc Marshall's contract was sold to Minneapolis in April and re-purchased in August. He did not appear in a game for New York in the 1905 season.
