Fellow baseball fans,
I saw this "numbers" game on a cricket bulletin board,
and thought that it might be worth trying on the Baseball Fever
bulletin board.
Here's how it works:
I start with the number 1, and mention something with baseball that is connected with
that number.
After that, someone can post the number 2, and mention what is connected with that number.
We then move on to 3, 4, 5 and so on.
It will be interesting to see how many numbers we can get through before the 'link" is broken
plus what interesting pieces of trivia users come up with.
Here is my starting post:
#1 - The number of players killed while playing in the Major Leagues. Ray Chapman
(Cleveland Indians) dies after being struck in the head by a pitch on September 7, 1920.
As the Baseball Trivia Nut says, "get to it!"
