              I don't know how happy you should be -- I believe the difference between "championship" teams and good teams is that championship teams win games they shoud've lost.

              unfortunately, Yankee fans are not satisfied with division titles.

                  Sadly, this is so, but at least the Yankees are winning these games. They can play as horribly as they wish, but as long as they win the last game of the season I will be fine with it.

                    • kinda ironic how ken got post number 1918 and you got post number 1923 which if my sources are correct that was the first yankee championship. That they won.

                                Very true. Contreras needed several visits by Torre, their pitcher was holding our guys after the 2 runs, they nickle and dimed us to tie it up.

                                Must've been too pumped up after the Boston series.
