I'm just wondering if the refs in the game might just happen to be Oregon alumni?

Come on Yankee Man, you know the Ducks won fair and square.

You could say the same thing about the refs in the ND game. Horrible officiating.

              • Wildcard? <Yuk!>

The Yankees clinched at least the Wildcard today.

But the smart money is on the AL East title.

                      I define improvement when:

Yanks beat TB, Andy gets 20, only gives up 1 whole run.

Bawston gets smacked around 13-4 by Cleveland, Williamson gets 5 ER. Hey, I thought Lowe was your #2.

Isn't it nice that the same team that spanked Beantown 7-0 at *your* house got wiped out today?

Now then, let's hear those mighty offensive stats again, Ken.

I wonder how it feels to be a yankee fan, you pretty much know that your team is going to the playoffs every year. As a white sox fan u cherish the fact that the sox make the playoffs every 7 years or so

                        • My point is just cherish this moment cuz yankee fans are pretty spoiled, and i would kill for the sox just to get in the playoffs each year

Spoiled or not, I'd call myself very fortunate. However, are we more fortunate than Braves fans, who've made it 12 years straight?

Please don't confuse this with my being ornery or anything, but since the central division teams in both leagues are said to be baseball's weakest, then wouldn't simply playing much better baseball year round lead to more postseason games? Had it been the toughest, like the west coast, I could understand. Just winning lots of games would almost guarantee playoffs.

We play you guys this Monday. Your team will have a chance to state its case on the field, so best of luck to you.
