You had one last season, and he's only about $1-2m more than Mendoza is. They could've won this game.

St Louis' Eldred giving up 3 runs on 1 out means LaRussa is overly patient.

Tied score. Had LaRussa taken out Eldred right after that 2 run shot by Tek, the game could've been over now. Nice at least knowing it's not just Torre that has brain farts.

This seems like a game that if the Cards scored another 3 in the 11th, Boston would tie it up, just for spite.

Pujols isn't looking like himself today, so no runs. The game's all yours if you can get it back to Nomar. Seeing the Cards pen today, that may not be overly hard, unless Tek comes through big.
