You don't seem to need the Main Coon cat to cover any part of the outfield. It seems like if the outfield sat in the dugout, the score would be the same. Maybe the kitty can teach ARod how to steal.....

      Absolutely not.

Tim Wakefield, (as a starter, ok Matt) continues to do well against the Yanks...

Javier Vazquez, not so much . . .

      • OK, so we let you chowdaheads have the first game. We'll go for either the split or 3 of 4.

Remember, Ken, we're not the ones who run away after a loss.

Doesn't matter, we've already gotten into Wake's head. We'll take care of him later on during the year. You can run and hide whenever you feel like, since it'll spare the inevitable agony later on.

Let us? We wanted it and we took it. -

3 of 4 is possible for your team, but only on the short end of the stick! -

When & how did the Red Sox "run away" after a loss?

No, Ken, *YOU* run away after a loss. Never fails. Happened all last season.

Now then, you'll get your whuppin's soon. Even if we tie this series, you won't like what you'll see once you get to Evil Empire Headquarters!

              Beware, but be there!

                - Oh ya, you're really bothering Wakefield. In the last five Sox wins vs New York, he's beaten your Yankees four of them! If he could pitch against Yankees more often, he'd be the run-a-way choice for the Cy Young . . . -

Eh, I don't know about that. I'm not too worried about our pitching, but I'm beginning to get the feeling that our team batting average might not top .220 for the year. I thought these Rodriguez and Sheffield guys could hit? As it is, I'm not really sure they're an offensive upgrade over Robin Ventura and Raul Mondesi. I'm beginning to think the Yankees might finish last in the majors in runs scored this year... Let's hope they pull out of it.

                      • Do we get to see...

the rest of the Y bullpen today? Sorry you won't see Pedro, or Nomah, or Nixon quite yet . You will get to see this guy called "Schilling", though. Rumor has it he's okay. Is ARod gonna give Jeter fielding lessons? I guess Sheffroid changed his name; we like his new name. We believe in truth in labeling. Gotta get ready, hear there is a crowd gathering. A Moose is gonna be on the mound at Fenway Park. I know NYY pitching is a tad weak, but a Moose, now, really....though after the score gets up there, rumor has it Wally will take the mound. It seems fitting for a Rat to pitch to the Evil Empire.

I seem to remember a no-no against Beantown at YS on July 4th, 1983. Must've been revenge or something. Doesn't beat October 2003, though!
