                • At least the Expos proved to be too much of a bitter rival to Toronto. For that, I thank you, even though I thought they'd hang in there much longer.

                    Houston, we have a problem!

                    It seems the
shuttle has not separated the distance needed from the solid rocket boosters as was prematurely reported earlier...It also has been revealed that the shuttle has been burning on very low grade 'Mets-fuel' of late. Engineers have predicted a strong possibility that the solid rocket boosters will actually pick up enough speed to pass the shuttle itself...It is now feared that the shuttle may not be able to go the distance on this year's mission...
We'll need up to 90 days to know if our calculations are correct...

I don't know about you, but 6 of 6 against a team we'd never previously swept at anything seems pretty good to me. Has Boston ever swept the Mets?

Unlike you guys, our crosstown rival shares the same state name, and each of us think we own this solely, so the rivalry can still be pretty good.

I don't remember the Yanks losing any series to BoSox so far, but we'll see how well this works out later on.

                      • I'm so glad the sox are getting their tough road trips done early this year. It'll give us plenty of time to rocket past the yankees towards the end of the season

While I'll be happy with a 2-2 split or 3-1 against the yanks in the upcoming road trip, don't expect us to go that easy on ya back in fenway later on

As I said before, the red sox will win the season series.

On a side note, ken, you shoulda made three more posts before your last one... you coulda had your 666th on the 666th reply on this thread ><

I'm trying to remember. I seem to recall playing them in the mid-80's, but I don't think there was a sweep involved. _ _ _

I think I might know what you are talking about.... nah.

But don't you think it would be hard to sweep with bad knees.
