I remember Enos Slaughters mad dash off Pesky in 1946. What happened in 1948? That's when the Tribe won their last WS I remember.

I hate the Chi Sox! Their fans, most of them, are such dips****! Half of the stadium (Comerica) was White Sox fans, all were drunk, obnoxious idiots, and they were just rude. I sat next to two really cool Sox fans though and talked to them about their prospects. They said all the Chi Sox fans were drunkards...they just annoy me.

I was at Comerica during the Yanks last visit... There are some "obnoxious idiots" from Detroit too, so Chicago hasn't cornered the market... Speaking of ChiSox-Tig's -- anyone remember "Disco Demolition Night?"
