Why no power? Now that you mention it, going to town may not be a bad idea!

Either way, I'm sure you'll forgive me if I hang a few "We Love the Yankees" signs near Fenway and stuff.

Edit to your delight, I'd just take a gazillion pictures and post em online for everybody's benefit!

I remember Enos Slaughters mad dash off Pesky in 1946. What happened in 1948? That's when the Tribe won their last WS I remember.

On edit, I just found something: http://www.baseballlibrary.com/baseb...y/OCTOBER4.stm

        1948
» In a one-game playoff for the AL pennant at Fenway Park, the Cleveland Indians beat the Boston Red Sox 8-3 behind rookie knuckleballer Gene Bearden, who wins his 20th game. Player-manager Lou Boudreau gets 4 hits, including 2 HRs. Red Sox manager Joe McCarthy ignores his rotation pitchers to go with journeyman Denny Galehouse (8-7). With the score 1-1 in the 4th, Ken Keltner hits a 3-run HR over the LF fence.

What do you get when you have twice as many errors than hits?

We had our C team out there, not our regulars. Now we need to move Zeile out of the lineup, bring Soriano and Jeter back, and we'll be fine.

                            • I hate the Chi Sox! Their fans, most of them, are such dips****! Half of the stadium (Comerica) was White Sox fans, all were drunk, obnoxious idiots, and they were just rude. I sat next to two really cool Sox fans though and talked to them about their prospects. They said all the Chi Sox fans were drunkards...they just annoy me.
The Tigers are the best team in Major League Baseball, everybody just has a hard time accepting it.

I was at Comerica during the Yanks last visit... There are some "obnoxious idiots" from Detroit too, so Chicago hasn't cornered the market... Speaking of ChiSox-Tig's -- anyone remember "Disco Demolition Night?"

Here's one of my pics of me at the CoPa -- on the field -- You should have been there Rascosun...
