You got a fork? The meat thermometer just popped up. Start carving.

Last night's game was on ESPN2, and when Manny wasn't walked twice, even when he turned an insider the parker into a standup triple, I figured Toronto either didn't really want that game or didn't know how to win. No crime in pitching around Manny.

That's when the Yanks were in a major slump, as even Texas swept us in 4 games. Toronto was cold before this, I think, and that revitalized them.

Thanks to Montreal and Beantown, they're in the deep freeze again. We'll take em down hard this time!

                  • close, but not quite. We need to win tonight's game to drive it home.

I'm hoping though that getting swept by us this series gets them fired up to go against the yanks

Nah, I say you guys lose tonight, and go only 2 out of 3. After this, the Yanks sweep them at their house.

                              • Seems that the W's aren't coming as easily as in the past... Maybe George's pressure is proving too much. They couldn't seem focus on the task at hand- so they dropped 2 of 3 to the Indians, which hasn't happened in almost a decade . . . Cleveland rookie starter Jason Davis must have a nasty pickoff move, to pick off Soriano TWICE in a close game. {"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and I'm trade bait before the deadline passes!" Nah, Soriano just fell asleep at the wheel. Heck, the one at 2B was bigger, since Jeter smacked a double to RF, and he could've scored from 1B on that one.

Now it's our turn to feast on the Blue Jays, getting vengeance when we were down. We should double the lead very shortly!
