Yup, both cashing their checks as I type.

Ahhhhhh, no worry. Back to the Peanut Gallery, pipsqueak.

Don't worry, there's always room for one more nut in that nuthouse.

Speaking of Peanuts, which one would you be? Lucy? Sally? Peppermint Patty?

Not sure Ken, but I'm positive Mariano Rivera is Charlie Brown. Remember that shot through the box that undressed him in the '04 ALCS?

              Remember it?

I had a hundred copies made of a picture of that play that shows his priceless expression . . .

Remember, the Yanks always come out on top, while Beantown will be second best. Never forgot that.

                • I saw the Red Sox during the regular season do two things: literally dismantle the Big Unit and boo at "JD the Sellout," with the Sox winning big. In 2004 my team may have been swept by the Red Sox, but it wasn't fun compared to when the Red Sox blow out the Yankees

Edit: which is the only team has the best DH, the only DH they usually need, and have him hit home runs? Oh, I forgot to mention the Yankees don't have a proper DH, which is why the Sox are better, and him batting next to the Magic Tank (Manny Ramirez) is just the best 3-4 punch ever.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, the growing chorus that arrives when the Yanks lose a few. Now then, I do hope that the Nats have brought their heavy lumber with them tonight.

When the Yanks return down Yawkey Way, I do hope that they bring the bats, and the rotation, and the bullpen as well.

The best 3-4 ever? I think that their numbers and their spots in the lineup were one and the same: #3 and #4.

So don't post into it. In fact, feel free to ignore it if, unlike its frequent visitors, you neither appreciate, understand, nor enjoy it.

                        • Hank, I've removed your posts. Considering you've in the past complanied on several occasions about this thread, I find that to be very interesting, since you've now blatantly put non-baseball discussions here.

As to others complaining, please have them post using their own names under Web Improvements. If you insist upon posting things which have absolutely zero to do with baseball, then you'll hear from me.

                          • I have a complaint, and it was the Curse that shook Boston. Since I'm still a bit young and don't know that much about baseball history: why did the Red Sox dismiss Ruth?

You could ask about that under the "History" forum.

                                The short answer:

Clearly Harry Frazee wanted a few more hits in New York.
