Here in the bitter rivals thread, we have already agreed that the A-rod slap was neither "girly" or "womanish", (just really, really, really bad).

              • OK, I'll try and find another pic...

                Sorry. Didn't realize. :o

Just typed in "A-Rod" on Google.

                Anyway, here's another:

                • If Renteria and the Braves head to Beantown next year, what would your reception be? That's right, boo him to death. Of course, both Bahston and the Cardinals didn't have a very good year this year, and a quiz for everyone. Who is currently getting blown out 11-0 by the DEVIL RAYS?

Ummm....who has lost 7 in a row and could be the biggest choke-job (short of the 04 yanks) ever....

                    • Note: I said both Boston and St. Louis didn't have very good years this year. Both were expected to win big, and they came up short because of managing problems, injuries, and miscues from players and managers.

Let's face it: Jason Varitek, Manny Ramirez, Coco Crisp, David Wells, Wily Mo Pena, and even Alex Gonzalez dealt with injuries this year. It didn't look good with the Cardinals too. Albert Pujols, Chris Carpenter, Slidney Ponson ( intentionally mispelt because he's not worthy of being a Cardinal), Rolen, and David Eckstein weren't so lucky this year. I disliked Ponson though, so it didn't matter when he got released twice this year.

That old thing died two years ago. Right around the time that the
'single greatest monumental collapse in a playoff series in MLB history' occurred.
                        Now there's a curse that's so big, it could "c h o k e" a horse . . .

                        • Now, which team won an improbable lead in 1978 and 2006, and could very well be on the way to a World Series victory? It may be one team in Beantown, but I don't want to say the answer.

we had later in the season (that I can recall) was 3-4 games . . . (WOW!)
