Yeah i'm so sure they wont get it done.

If I remember correctly -- I believe it was a regular Yankee fan poster in this thread that wanted Matsuzaka badly... hmmm... I wonder who that was??
Boy, Im glad we got rid of that guy -- the one with the girly arm -- to free up #18 for a worthy player. DAISUKE!!!!!

Don't forget who's won far more often than Beantown ever has or ever will.

Can't be much of a choker if he's the single greatest player in team history.

Have fun being in 3rd place again in 2007. Stay still while I adjust my rear view mirror. Now where are my binoculars? Oh, *THERE* you are!

      • The Red Sox will hopefully be in first place with the new Japanese ace, and you got this guy as a Japanese "ace." Yankee fans should remember this guy VERY well, and my last thing before I go: D-Mat in 2007! (you ain't getting him)

Poor Daisuke can`t even choose his own fate. For that Beantown must suffer. The guy you mentioned before is a beautiful example of a plyer free to make his own choices

          Johnny Damon!!!!

ACTULLY, prices for everything except for the luxury seating are staying the same.

Johnny Damon? Bah! You can keep him.

            • Care if we list the defectors in the rivalry? Elston Howard, defected to the Red Sox, 1967. Wade Boggs, defected to the Yankees, 1992. Roger Clemens, defected to the Yankees, 2000. David Wells, defected to the Red Sox, 2005. Babe Ruth and Johnny Damon, NO. They're blithering traitors and must not be mentioned. As if the others are not as bad enough of traitors.

Oh, these don't have to be right after one player defected from the Yankees/Red Sox to the other side.

                Johnny who?

Oh..I'll be seeing the Sox for about $23 a pop in a dome that will have more Sox fans than Devil Ray fans. Section 141 in LF @ The Trop is just like being in Fenway, with 0% chance of a rainout....

                • You Yankees fans are boring me. Sign someone worth noting or I boo Johnny Damon. That's right, I'll boo him for betraying Boston by defecting to the Yankees. He shouldn't have done that, in my opinion. In addition, enjoy the Curse of Mike Mussina for two more years.

Which means no WS titles for the Yankees for two years, and if you Yankees keep A-Rod, more years will wait until their 27th ring.

Johnny Who? Oh..that traitorous jerk who used to wear the number Matsuzaka'll wear in Boston. What was so damn funny was that poor Johnny didn't know why he was being booed when he returned to Fenway last year .

And once again, I am so glad THIS scenario never happened...

So true, at first I thought I heard a little cheering in there, but this video filmed in Williamsburg that faithful night proves that the majority of Fenway had thier thumbs down.

Once someone is an FA, any team can snatch them up. Pedro left also. How come no "traitor" thing? Oh yeah, he's playing for the Evil Empire.

How's his younger upgrade, Coco Crisp doing? Any takers for him yet?

Pedro kept his word about one thing...NEVER playing for THEM. Benedict Damon said the same thing too but lied to us..and he wonders why he was booed?

                          I'm happy with Crisp...

                          • The Red Sox Nation has Julio Lugo, J.D. Drew, and they're trying to negotiate to unlock a very powerful weapon. I won't show the weapon's picture...or maybe I will, just to envy Yankees fans!

Say hi to Daisuke Matsuzaka. Welcome to losing against him, Yankees fans and the closer will K the door, and it won't be Mariano Rivera.
