      • Well, unfortunately, that was one measly "victory" over the Empire. The first real victory is either a series win or sweep at good old Fenway Park - or even worse, at Yankee Stadium.

How was it again. Wake was said to own the Yankees the last couple of years????

Touched for four earned runs in just 4 innings. That reaaaaaally looks promising.

Cheer up! It is only a practice game guys.

Oh. When someone comes up with the poor outings of Pavano and Ohlendorf... Nobody was expecting any good outings from Pavano. And Ohlendorf is only minor league, he is still learning.

That's fine. Lose to the Birds, lose to the Jays. One measly victory against the suspect Yankee pitcher. Oh well, 2 losses outta 3 ain't bad!

Now then, when will ye young and old Beantowners concede the 2007 season? Mid-June, perhaps, in time for the June Swoon?

            • Even though I am your father, I have sired very strange offspring. Now then, would this be li'l Ken or Williamsburg?

Will Boston win another game this season? Inquiring Yankee minds want to know!

                  • From the below graphic, you'll see the ancient Wilbur & Orvile method of how the flight plan should've gone. However, with Li'l Ken & Williamsburg at the wheel, things didn't quite work out.

Pilot to co-pilot, someone's going down into a nosedive (check the latest W/Ls):

                      4-1. Beantown lost tho.

Let's keep this chatter going. We should have about 2,000,000 posts by the time 2090 arrives for Li'l Ken.

I think you need to expand your vision of rivialry. Besides, the BoSox have won a few pennants that the Yanks would have liked to have won themselves. But, unlike the Yanks, the BoSox never capitlized on the opportunities. True, it's bigger for BoSox fans than Yank fans. But hey, what franchise, in any sport, compares with the Yanks?*

Gotta go with the Yankees and Boston Red Sox. That became intensified when the 0-3 Bosox came back to whip the Yankees for the ALCS. That will stick in New Yorks throat for at least 85 years. The Yanks with such rich traditions and history, didn't need that.

Only your second post, and already mocking the almighty Yankees?

Matt, here is another one for your trunk.

How's that starter search going? Hard to close something that hasn't been started. The Yankee's new motto?: Mussina and Wang and pray it rains long.

At least we crashed ahead of you. W/L? practice? We talkin' about practice? practice? not a real game, practice? I know it's important, I do, but we talkin' bout practice?!?
