It looks like Carl Pavano will be his usual self: healthy at one minute, fragile the next. Well, he isn't going to be greeted warmly when the Blue Jays peck at him for home runs in the SkyDome!

Have fun losing in the SkyDome, Yankee fans, because Jimmy Key and Joe Carter said so! I don't care if he played for the Yankees. I'm indifferent to the Red Sox. I'm crossing my fingers that the Yankees go 0-18 against the Jays this season, though it's not likely to happen because of people like...

*Josh "I blew the game in 1-3 innings pitched" Towers
      *various relief pitchers
*players that don't field/play well for whatever reason
      *etc.
      *unluckiness

      • Doesn't take A-Rod long to make his first error of the new season. The fans are starting to boo and it's only the 1st inning.

What does this mean? The Jays have a good defensive lineup, if you ask me.

          • Sometimes the middle infielders struggle defensively, but it's mostly the throw. But the one thing that's the highlight of the day...

3 errors in one game for the Yankees!

It is the win that counts... 9-5. A comeback victory. AND... a nice recovery by A-Rod.

And two K's for Mariano as well.

Well, now that Hinske is gone and Russ Adams is safely in the minors (playing 2B no less), the Jays infield is pretty solid. The Yankees however...

I did. You saying that A-Rod did not commit an E in the 1st or what?

                        • 6th inning, Royals vs Boston 6-1. Schilling 5 earned runs in 4 innings. Way to go Schil...

He seemed to do something else as well during that game

Yea, congrats on the HR, if that's what you're referring to, but that's not what the original comment was about.

I just thought the booing was a little too much being it was only the 1st inning. I'm sure the boos turned into cheers due to the bi-polar disorder that some of the fans have.

I wouldn't say it's bi-polar disorder. I think that, unfortunately, some fans just get caught up with the media spin that Alex Rodriguez gets booed a lot. It's like a domino theory to me. Besides, not only are there home team fans at Yankee Stadium, but (surprise, surprise, surprise, per Gomer Pyle), there are also visiting fans there also!

Anyway, he got cheered when he'd hit that 2-run dinger, so I'm not too worried about him.

Now thne, how did Curt Schill do last night? Just think, our #5 pitcher did better than your "ace". From the official beantown site:

                                Schilling loses control in opener
Starter struggles over four innings; lineup shut down by Meche
