  • Great game and Weekend for Sox fans.

Its a shame we had to get stuck with Joe Morgan instead of Jerry Remy for such a great game.

Oh well I guess I'll take a Remyless sweep if I have too
    Get out the Vote!!!

      • ???

Oh where, oh where, have the Yankees gone
Oh where, oh where, can they be?
On their rafts in the Rivah, their hair cut short
Oh where, oh where, can they be?

Oh where, oh where, have the Yankees gone?
Oh where, oh where, can they be?
Swept into the Rivah, broom, broom
Oh where, oh where, can they be?

Oh where, oh where, have the Yankees gone?
Oh where, oh where, can they be?
On that Dirty Water, that's them,
Oh where, oh where, can they be?

Somebody please post that Fantasia scene with the brooms sweeping the water and wizard down the stairs.

        • Maybe I missed something here. If I Recall the season is 162 games. I don't cry when the Yanks get swept and I wouldn't gloat if they swept the Bosox, it's April.

I'll take leave from this thread, we could tit for tat all season and none of the chatter will mean anything till the seasons over, waste of time.

I was wishing we had a NESN postgame to watch, with Eckersley all hyper about the win. I can't wait to hear the pregame tonight, which will be as much about the NYY series as about the upcoming series v. Toronto.

I know it's only April, but a win now is worth as much as a win in September.

This thread is all about tit-for-tat all year around. It's all frivolity, all the time.

                • I think all the Yankee fans are gone for now. Oh well, they probably don't want to talk about four consecutive bombs that Chase Wright gave up.

Jon Miller said that Mike Lowell's home run was "headed to New Hampshire." Wait a minute, the baseball can travel that far?

You did miss something... you missed that this thread isn't as serious as you wish it to be. Light hearted bantering, that's all.

By the way... The Red Sox Win..... Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Red Sox win!

                          • I'm going to New York this weekend, and my uncle might be able to get tickets for me and my brother to go to the game. What do you guys think? Should I go in full Red Sox gear?
