I bet you two sometimes have a cosy night when watching the 1986 WS video?

That one's below the belt. :grouchy

You seem to forget that we are 9-1 in our last ten games.

And Boston? Oh yeah only 5-5.

The main reason you're hot NOW is because you finally have some semblence of a pitching rotation. But you're banking on these geriatric arms to last all season & that A-Rod will continue his stellar performance late in the season. The difference is we have guys like Lester waiting in the wings in case Tavarez or Wakefield need to be spelled.
How do we say "Phil Hughes"?

Nice try. I got over the '86 Series in 2004 when The Curse ended. Even my wife knows it and she's tried to tease me about it.

I even shook hands with Bucky Dent in 2005 and told him I forgave him...

5-5= .500, If you don't remember what that is, wait until this afternoon.

Boston could have gone 0-10 and still have led the division.

Yup. But the lead is shrinking.

Alright, here's my bet. If the Yankees (somehow) win the division, I will wear a Yankees avatar until Spring Training of the 2008 season begins. But if the Red Sox win, the accepter of the bet has to wear a Red Sox avatar of my choice until The New Year (since the odds are in the Red Sox favor). Any takers?

If that bet was made the opposite way after the 2004 WS you would have had to use a Yankees avatar.

How about this, if the Yankees last longer than the Red Sox do than you have to wear and Yankees avatar and sig until Manny reports to ST

If the Red Sox last longer than the Yankees than I have to wear a Red Sox avatar and sig until New Years Day

Since the Red Sox have the division lead and the Yankees are 4th in the WC than you would have to use the Yankees avatar and sig longer than I would have to wear the Red Sox avatar and sig. Scared?
