  • Who's the best Asian pitcher in baseball right now? Hint: he ain't pitching in Detroit right now.

Special thanks to Gary Sheffield for his double and longball. I always knew there was a reason we traded him!

He hit his 30th jack today. #494 passing Gehrig and he passed Yogi for RBI.

The big Matzusaka ain't that big tonight. Oh well... BIG numbers against him. Touched for 6, yes SIX, earned runs in five innings. Ouch that must hurt. h
Only 4 Ks, but 88 pitches. Tito threw in the towel as Mike Timlin is out there.

    • Hey Matt, don't you think it is very quiet in Red Sox Nation right now?

Hello, hello, hello, is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
      Is there anyone home?

Considering we could get swept in some sort of 9 game series and still have the lead in the AL East, I'm not worried.

Young Yankee fan: I thought the oldtimer's game was before today's game.
        Old Yankee Fan: It was.
Young Yankee Fan: Then why is that old guy pitching?

Why am I not surprised to get an answer like that?

Of course you will win the AL East, no doubt about it. But for the time being we have the fun of you being swept.

I would compare it to the USSR being "our friends" during World War 2. They're on "our side" untill this thing gets over.

Hmm, seems to be devoid of Yankees fans...where'd they go from 1996-2000?

Sure, tough talk WB2599, but the fact is that you guys are quite slumping lately.

But that doesn't matter. It gives us the opportunity to overtake you guys.
