      4

A salute to the two #4s who have hade the number retired in the Hub Of The Universe!

(You Yankee fans think Fisk waving his HR in game 6 of the 75 Series was something? This won us a Stanley Cup!)

          • I'm failing to hear the lost voices of The Evil Empire in this thread.
"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it."

              • It's time for the Playa Hatas (that's y'all, Ken, Williamsburg & SDL) to renounce your Silly Ways and jump on the Evil Bandwagon.

The Mighty Yankees have won a place for the 13th straight time into the postseason. Can Beantown say this? Nope.

                Now then, once October begins:

During the 2003 WS, I was wearing my Red Sox caps with Marlins T-shirts. What does that tell you?

It means that your choice of t-shirts in 2001 was equally predictable. Of course, Boston never made the playoffs that season, so it was "rooting against the Evil Empire" time once again, right? A Beantown tradition!

Sorry..I don't fir in my wife's Mets t-shirts at all. She was wearing her Mets gear; i was wearng my Sox cap and my "Certified Yankee Hater" t-shirt in 2001.

2003? Remember I used to live in S. Florida, so I have some Marlin t-shirts.

Believe me..I been a Tampa Bay fan the past two nights!
