    • Brag all you want. You're just getting lucky, Yankee fans. Now, IF the New York Yankees gets in the postseason, how will A-Choke fare?

You may call it luck that Boston is choking, but can you call it luck that the Yanks have won about 75% of their games after the All Star game? Don't think so.

His name is Alex Rodriguez. His nickname is A-Rod. Please try being respectful.

Lots of great players do poorly in the WS. In 1946, the Splendid Splinter had 5 hits in 25 ABs.

If Alex doesn't overwhelm, so be it. It's not like he's not in a loaded lineup, so between Damon, Jeter, Abreu, Matsui, Cano and occasionally Giambi, there are lots of other alternatives.

I'm more interested in how well the team will fare against Anaheim if/when we make the playoffs. Hopefully, we'll win the division, but that's another issue.

Anyway, would it have been luck if Boston had won those games? While our closer looked very shaky last night, as he did on Sunday vs Ortiz, he didn't give up any runs that either lost or put those games out of reach. Unlike Papelbon last night in giving up the slam in a 2-1 game in the 9th.

But I'm wishin' and a-hopin, oh

How typical. Finally they have won a game and they start bragging again...

C'mon, man, let's not get personal. Mickey Mantle was an awesome Yankee player, even if he abused his liver.

Billy Martin did also, and he was a great manager for the Yanks and Oakland.

Anyway, I haven't even been around much the past few days.

Anyway, better to finally have a loss after a 3-game sweep, than a win after being swept for 3 games, I'd say.

The Toronto Blue Jays are pure Canadian evil. Don't they know there out of the race? Look in their forum, all there fans are watching hockey instead, for pete's sake.
