        I got news for you.

John Kander wrote the music with lyrics by Fred Ebb.
"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it."

Now this is a song as well

I'm gonna tell you a story
I'm gonna tell you about my town
I'm gonna tell you a big bad story, baby
Aww, it's all about my town
          Yeah, down by the river
Down by the banks of the river Charles
          (aw, that's what's happenin' baby)
          That's where you'll find me
Along with lovers, muggers, and thieves
          (aw, but they're cool people)
Well I love that dirty water
          Oh, Boston, you're my home
(oh, you're the Number One place)
          Frustrated women
          (I mean they're frustrated)
Have to be in by twelve o'clock
          (oh, that's a shame)
But I'm wishin' and a-hopin, oh
That just once those doors weren't locked
(I like to save time for my baby to walk around)
Well I love that dirty water
          Oh, Boston, you're my home
          (oh, yeah)
Because I love that dirty water
Oh, oh, Boston, you're my home
          (oh, yeah)
Well, I love that dirty water
          (I love it, baby)
          I love that dirty water
          (I love Baw-stun)
          I love that dirty water
(Have you heard about the Strangler?)
          I love that dirty water
(I'm the man, I'm the man)
          I love that dirty water
          (Owww!)
          I love that dirty water
          (Come on, come on)
sigpicMan, do I *HATE* the Yankees!!!!!!

no offence but I hate the red sox fans who decide to cheer for every team near the red sox because they are well close to the red sox. They think the teams are related or something.

I don't cheer for all new york teams:

            Baseball - Yankees
Football - Colts (including post 2006-07 season)
            Hockey - Avlanche
Basketball - don't really care, maybe Heat, I use them in NBA Live 07

            • o my gosh, there is a new curse!!

When the red sox won this past world series, they won 3 years after they broke their 86 year winning streak. There last batter of this world series was number 33. As in 3 again. Cracking open the curse of the famous number 3 Babe Ruth.

The curse of the bambino relived, sending the red sox in another 86 year drought.

              Enjoy! :gt

You do not know us NATIVE BOSTONIANS very well, do you. It is ingrained into us from birth. In fact players from all the teams interact with each other.

                We grow up Sox fans

                We grow ip Patriot fans

                We grow up Celtics fans

                We row up Bruins fans

We do NOT give that up if we move to another area. We remain loyal. If I had kids and they became Devil Ray fans, I'd have no problem...it would be where they grew up.

I bet you if your a red sox fan, you love going to boston market even if you hate their food (though I think the food is pretty good - haven't been there in 6 years though)

As a matter of fact, I do hit Boston Market about twice a month...their sirloin is great and even their side-order meals are good.

Its called being proud of your region. Would you root for Italy to win WW2 because you think their guns are cool? No, you root for America because they are from your place and represent you.

Just because I live in the South now does not mean I'm now a NASCAR fan. In fact, I'm quite the opposite

Kind of what I try to get through the thick-skulls that live down here.

You can take the boy out of Boston but you cannot take Boston out of the boy...

And I think the New England Patriots were once the Boston Patriots. Their stadium is close to Boston. New England has always had a strong sense of regional identity. When I was a kid, I tracked Milwaukee for a number of years, even though I lived in Massachusetts, because the Braves were originally from Boston.
