well i actually was gonna say "gay" but u know the moderators here are strict at least in my opinion

I have no idea what constitutes a "gay" sport. Could you kindly use another term for referencing a sport which you don't find overly interesting? I don't quite see a connection between a sport one plays or enjoys, and one's lifestyle.

This is very likely (no, this definitely *IS*) the least "strict" thread you'll find here on BBF. We get away with lots, but criticizing one's lifestyle isn't my idea of fun. Let's just say that I'm a "live and let live" type who doesn't need to agree with someone in order to respect them.

We're here to have fun, throw zingers at one another, bury Red Sox fans in large, smelly, rusty vehicle trunks (be they cars, pickups or mining trucks the size of brick house).

What we're not here for is cursing, personal attacks, nastiness in any way. We all know each other, are quick to use our wittiest comebacks in response to having just gotten burned by fans of another team.

Simple enough rules, right? Read back a few pages and you'll see that most of us have gotten by with one another for quite some time now. OK?

I've heard that, then someone considering a weak argument to be "gay" thing that was said. I've heard it before, so I'm not immune.

All I'm saying is that I would strongly recommend not calling something stupid said as being "gay". However, if you called it "another Manny moment", I certainly wouldn't object!

All I'm saying is that I don't think that anybody should be calling anyone else or any team to be "gay" around here, if used in a negative way. Everyone does their own thing.
