Things like that happen, unfortunately. Be glad that it is still not as bad as it is with soccer games in Europe.
Actually, the Giants fan was shot to death, and it's a shame that this happens. And be careful about the football hooligans - they'll go insane over any loss. One single loss, and chaos ensues.

Edit: Here's where it said he was shot at - right out of ESPN.com

"(Marc) Antenorcruz was shot once in the upper body while heading for his car after a Sept. 19 Dodgers-Giants game. Police said the shooting followed an argument between the Covina man, two men and a woman, over the teams."

Who is this pipsqueak here entering our midst. Oh yeah, it's Ms Whats-her-face coming here to bother us with her inferior intellect.

You've worn a Yankee WS ring? How nice of you. Now you can finally become a real Yankee fan. Just start with the hat and we'll go from there. OK?

Now I'll have to rummage the web for pix of crazy female Beantowners. Someone has to go out with those guys.

Anyway, Li'l Ken just got back from his artistic sitting. He too has tried becoming a Yankee fan, but his efforts were ... let's just say he didn't past muster.

I have no idea what constitutes a "gay" sport. Could you kindly use another term for referencing a sport which you don't find overly interesting? I don't quite see a connection between a sport one plays or enjoys, and one's lifestyle.

This is very likely (no, this definitely *IS*) the least "strict" thread you'll find here on BBF. We get away with lots, but criticizing one's lifestyle isn't my idea of fun. Let's just say that I'm a "live and let live" type who doesn't need to agree with someone in order to respect them.

We're here to have fun, throw zingers at one another, bury Red Sox fans in large, smelly, rusty vehicle trunks (be they cars, pickups or mining trucks the size of brick house).

What we're not here for is cursing, personal attacks, nastiness in any way. We all know each other, are quick to use our wittiest comebacks in response to having just gotten burned by fans of another team.

Simple enough rules, right? Read back a few pages and you'll see that most of us have gotten by with one another for quite some time now. OK?

            • New pix of CB have emerged:

Even at an early age, CB's beady eyes and evil ways were in abundance:

Here she is in 2004, once the Yanks felt sorry for Boston.

              CB's personal outdoor chef:

CB's personal bag of tricks (likely to be unleashed shortly):

CB's early predictions from the Great Pumpkin:

More to come later on, CB!

This kid is definitely brainwashed. You can't blame her for being a Red Sox fan. Something like that doesn't come out of free will... h

The kid is crying because it is already linked with the Red Sox before it can say I want to be a Yankee fan...

Remind me sometime to take a pic of my cats doing what comes naturally when I put a pic of Damon or Clemens or Steinbrenner on the floor.

Oh, did I mention my cats are paper-trained as well as litter-box trained?

See? Those New Englanders are also brainwashing animals. You know what the penalty is for animal cruelty? :dismay:
