  • Good luck finding the Red Sox jersey - it may never be found and the curse will set next year. Are you going to be cursed? We'll find out in the next few days.

Not surprised. FOX has the ironclad contract with NASCAR (Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks), I'm surrounded by them where I live (they still think Dale Sr. is going to rise from the dead...they make Yankee fans seem normal). If they pre-empted the race to show the rest if the game, FOX affiliates here in the South would have been pillaged.

Only show it in Boston/New York...but still would piss off fans around here who aren't baseball fans or who actually give a damn about Nascar.

Tessie is the Royal Rooters rally cry
Tessie is the tune they always sung
Tessie echoed April through October nights
After serenading Stahl, Dinneen and Young
Tessie is a maiden with a sparkling eye
Tessie is a maiden with a love

She's got a comment full of love

And sometimes when the game is on the line
                    Tessie always carried them away
Up the road from "Third Base" to Huntington
The boys will always sing and sway

                    Two! Three! Four!

                    Tessie, "Nuf Ced" McGreevey shouted

Tessie, you are the only only only

The Rooters showed up at the grounds one day
They found their seats had all been sold
McGreevey led the charge into the park
Stormed the gates and put the game on hold
The Rooters gave the other team a dreadful fright
Boston's tenth man could not be wrong
Up from "Third Base" to Huntington
                    They'd sing another victory song

                    • Hank and Hal vs Pitbull

Oh, boy..thou shalt not pitch to Manny with an open base. Thou shalt never leave such decisions to the pitcher.
I cannot believe he is gonna pitch to Manny this year.

The pitcher and the catcher speak the same language, the poor catcher (I felt sorry, except it was so funny)ran out again and again, still a wild pitch was scored as a passed ball. Is there another catcher if Molina breaks his leg? If I was him, I'd consider breaking my leg.

With the Red Sox stealing team playing a baseball game that was half a field and track event, Posada gets put behind the plate.

Hal and Hank vs the Pitbull. Put em in one of those steel cage thingies-

Is that jersey in the foundation, or did they manage to find it? Whose jersey did the guy put in? Hmmm, if they are just starting the foundation, plenty of places to stuff hats, replica trophies, number patches. Yankee stadium, embedded with RED SOX-geez, somebody's gotta get a trailer truck of red sox, and park it near the contruction site. Perfect.

Now Pitbull is going on the road-hope he keeps making these good decisions.

Shoot, they took jackhammers and found the shirt in two feet of concrete. Correction-found a shirt....

Goes into kitchen cabinets at will, at 3:30 in the AM, knocking the top off crockpot, and sitting in same. Investigating cleaning products. Detaching computer mouse and playing with it. Pulling emergency cord at 5:30 in the AM, waking up ten apartments. I'm typing now with cat firmly in grasp.

I am no fair weather fan!!!!!!!!!!!

But I've got to get sleep sometime. Cat is now ready to play, was laying under bed, ripping apart box spring cover. Cat was Yankee fan in prior life.

Now to devise sleeping arrangement for demon cat.

Pitching to Manny...Pitbull is a fine manager..

That person played upon superstitions. If there's another shirt buried in there, then where was it buried?

I think it's bad karma to do that to an opposing team, even if it's just "in fun" or whatever.

In the meanwhile, since Manny was allowed to be pitched to with an open 1B, costing us a win we should've had and then depending upon a young Phil Hughes, this thread shall be temporarily suspended and y'all will be launched into cyberspace somewhere.
