At least he's not with the Yankees, that's the good thing. Speaking of them, they're quite unstoppable these days. Someone replaced the team's batteries over the All-Star break with newer ones. Who was it? Henry "Hank" G. Steinbrenner? Harold "Hal" Steinbrenner or George M. Steinbrenner? Will the real Steinbrenner please stand up? Okay, I'm losing it here.
Anyway, I have bad news to bring up. Everyone, please wish the best of luck to Jim Kaat, ex-Yank broadcaster. His wife has recently passed on after she lost a battle with cancer.

Now then, when does "Please be kind to Seattle and get a free latte or Nintendo video game" night begin? Please read Baseball Fever Policy and Forum FAQ before posting. 2007-11 CBA

As far as I'm concerned, that night will NEVER happen! At least for the Red Sox. For New York, maybe it will happen. Before that, one event will be "take batting practice on Seattle and watch the fans leave the seats" night first before that event occurs.
Sorry Mattingly, slamming hapless Seattle is the first priority. Then it's a mad dash to Boston to do the same thing to the visiting team.

Now if Ken isn't here, then who plays my co-spy?
In NHRA drag racing, there were some old legends, one of the most famous of which were funny car racers Don "Snake" Prudhomme vs Tom "Mongoose" McEwen. Their namesakes were natural enemies in the wildlife, and they were natural and worthy combatants.
