But, I thought it bears noting that in the past decade 2002-2012, the Yankee record against the Red Sox is 102-100. That includes the postseason. In itself, that it phenomenally close.

Thus, in their century of glory...greatest they've been since the days of Ruth as a pitcher, no less (!)....the Red Sox can only barely keep up with the Yankees....
Hi csh19792001, It's always nice to hear viewpoints from new people.

Thanks for the welcome, brother. Heading to Fenway Nova vs. Lester. Could be a gem. :crossfingers:

Lester has owned the Yankees thus far. 9-3 career.

Not tonight (YANKEES WIN!). Anywho, at the All-Star Break...

REALLY not looking forward to that or any other series. Not the way they're playing!

They'd probably lose the 2004 ALCS the way they're playing now. Scratch that, nobody could be that bad,

When the Yankees got Ruth, (for Christmas), he was an 'ace' caliber starting pitcher.

Why didn't they start him every 4th or 5th game and use him in the field the other games? - :disbelief: +

I dunno... Maybe fatigue? However, I do believe he's still the career World Series ERA leader.

                              • Admit it . . .
You guys starting to feel it?

Maybe a small drop of nervous perspiration starting to develop?
I noticed it in Granderson tonight. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/video/p...nt_id=23422131

                                MtBWSGvF.jpg

I also noticed Girardi's hands pressed tightly together () in the dugout a number of times, seemingly praying to stop the on slot that was the Sox tonight.

                                Yup.
                                Me thinks,
you guys are starting to feel the pressure building from behind and that maybe, just maybe your season might start to resemble the 1978 Red Sox season?
