I’d like everyone who made this possible… The 2004 Red Sox and, of course, my friend Ken. But mostly the choke artists (i.e. the 2004 Yankees). <"Sunofa…" >

Soon the Series will end and things will go back to normal... Well, normal for Yanks-Saux anyway.

          BTW
Ken, in case I haven't mentioned it... This was a FUMBLE!

          it was a fumble.jpg
          You've might of brought it up a few times. I'm sure it's under 100 . . .
Um, nope. I believe, I could be wrong, (I'm sure we both agree that's not probable - Blue_nods.gif),
it was ruled an incomplete pass under the
          T-U-C-K rule. - anim_09.gif

YankeeMan, all kidding aside, I found this article that players, referees and broadcasters all reflect on that play and shows how 'emotions still run high about one of the most controversial playoff games in NFL history'.
I found it to be a good read and I think you might too.

You know something, I was amazed how much destruction a category 1 hurricane like Sammy could do.

Today a friend of mine, (no not you) sent me a sure fire way that would guarantee the U.S. never again be 'hit' by another storm.

Just name all future storms, A-Rod. Especially during the playoffs . . .

Well, the Raiders haven't had a winning season since their SuperBowl XXXVII appearance and, yeah, it’s a little frustrating. Especially when they can seem to manage to pick a decent QB in the draft (passed on Rodgers, Cutler, etc.). I did read the article you linked. My main reason, besides being a Raiders fan, for arguing fumble is he has TWO HANDS on the ball.:hissyfit:

I've called the National Weather Service with your suggestion and, hopefully, they'll have it implemented soon.

For the record, when I was a kid, the Jets played at Shea (“enemy territory”) and the Giants played in New Jersey (!). So, I had no NFL “home team.” However, I developed an affinity for a quarterback who, like me, was left-handed: Ken Stabler. Soon became an Oakland Raiders fan. Later, when my family moved to Malibu, I was able to attend Raider games – including a Super Bowl! After that, I was permanently a part of the Raider Nation. Hmm, I find it odd that all my “bitter rivals” are in Boston [Hiya Ken! ].

                        My favorite teams:

And, in the interest of full disclosure, my alma mater:
                        seal.jpg
Which beat U-Mass 63-13 in football this year. Just so you know

Ken..I have always said that this made up for that infamous roughing-the-passer call against Sugar Bear Hamilton
