I'm glad somebody else still uses this quote from MASH!
Nobody gets it when I say it, and they just walk away shaking their heads and eying me suspiciously.

It's not the quote... You just look suspicious.

Hey, you know what's better than being in FIRST PLACE in the AL East?
Being in first at the same time the
RedSux are in LAST! [Hiya Ken! ]

Well, it's not as dim as, say, the RedSux playoff hopes. Hmm, but I'm not willing to risk another year of this avatar and signature on it -- SO DON'T EVEN ASK! :stupidme:

Besides, our last ring is the most recent between us... Isn't it gorgeous?

Yeah, I've got my lousy avatar and signature to remind me of that EVERYDAY. No matter who wins, I can't wait for the World Series to end this year! Well, almost anybody

                      • I just realized I've never posted on this forum before. Ever.

But, I thought it bears noting that in the past decade 2002-2012, the Yankee record against the Red Sox is 102-100. That includes the postseason. In itself, that it phenomenally close.

Thus, in their century of glory...greatest they've been since the days of Ruth as a pitcher, no less (!)....the Red Sox can only barely keep up with the Yankees....

Thanks for the welcome, brother. Heading to Fenway Nova vs. Lester. Could be a gem. :crossfingers:

Lester has owned the Yankees thus far. 9-3 career.
