No, but wasn't that back when Cincinnati Royals and Syracuse Nationals were in the 9-team NBA?

But, hey, we've done 5, 4, and. recently, 3 in the WORLD SERIES.

        • We've also done back-to-back three times. Hey, when's the last time the suax won back-to-back titles (1915-1916)? Or any Boston team for that matter... 1969?

Irrelevant. Had nothing to do with the power-house match-ups in the Finals
Celtics won 11 iconic Championships in 12 seasons (7-0 vs. Lakers, 3-1 vs. Hawks)
            1. 1957 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 St. Louis Hawks, 3 *(Red Auerbach drafts Bill Russell; the reign of the Celtics begins.)
            2. 1958 NBA Finals St. Louis Hawks, 4 Boston Celtics, 2 *(Pettit explodes for 50 points in Game 6 for St. Louis' only title.)
            3. 1959 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 0 *(Lakers rookie Elgin Baylor sets the bar for future generations)
            4. 1960 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 St. Louis Hawks, 3 *(Wilt Chamberlain's rivalry with Bill Russell begins)
            5. 1961 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 St. Louis Hawks, 1 *(Robertson, Jerry West enter the league; Celtics win 3rd straight title)
            6. 1962 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 3 *(Wilt scores 100, but the Celtics keep on rolling)
            7. 1963 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 2 *(Russell 3rd straight MVP; Cousy retires with another Celtics' crown.)
            8. 1964 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 San Fran Warriors, 1 *(The Celtics' sixth consecutive title breaks major pro. sports record.)
            9. 1965 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 1 *(Havlicek's famous steal in Game 7 saves Celtics' championship run.)
            10. 1966 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 3 *(Auerbach announces his retirement after Game 1, motivates Boston.)
            11. 1968 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 2 *(Bill Russell leads Celtics to his first title as a player-coach.)
            12. 1969 NBA Finals Boston Celtics, 4 Los Angeles Lakers, 3 *(Jerry West wins Finals MVP, but Boston takes 10th title in 11 years.)

More than half of these seasons, the Celtics opponents in the Finals had a much better reg season record than Boston.

*To this day the Celtics still hold the major pro. sports record for consecutive titles.

(Not even your Yankees came close to this awesome record!)

*The Boston Celtics not only won back-to-back titles five times
but they did it FOUR TIMES CONSECUTIVELY! -

Yeah, back when nobody hardly cared and they still called basketball players "cagers."

That term started back in the late 1890's and they used the cage to keep the ball from going out of bounds.
What difference does that make anyway?

You just can't, (or most likely), won't give a team from Boston credit for accomplishing something that your almighty
