  • How did you get to your nickname?

I was wondering how people get a nickname?

I has chosen mine to stir the pot on the Red Sox board. I am a member of NYYfans.com as well. Overthere a lot of Red Sox fans come to troll around.

I decided to do the same on a Red Sox board. Then I came to this board and found out that the Sox fans here were not as bad as I thought they would be.

Mine is the second song on Roger's Waters The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking.

This is me and Waters in 1984 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.

So I stood by the roadside
The soles of my running shoes gripping the tarmac
    Like gunmetal magnets
Fixed on the fron of her Fassbinder face
Was the kind of a smile
That only a rather dull child could have drawn
While attempting a graveyard in the moonlight
    But she was impressed
You could see that she thought I looked fine
    And when she turned sweeter
The reason (between you and me) was
She'd just seen my green Lamborghini

He's not touring his new album yet, is he?

If I didn't respect Waters so much I would make a comment about what he would be doing at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio presently . . .

Oh, snap on Roger Waters (I feel bad saying that as well; great musician/song writer).

The movie "Dude, where's my car?" came out in the year 2000.

At the time you don't think much of it; you know, we just don't recognize the significant moments of our lives while they're happening. Back then I thought, 'Well, there'll be other days.' I didn't realize that that was the only day." - Moonlight Graham

i am reminded of an article years ago on sports fans and how far they will go to associate themselves with their team.

an oakland-area baby girl was christened silver ann blackwell. i kid you not.

My screenname is simply a play on the fact that people always consider Yankee fans to be "frontrunners" who think about nothing but the 26 rings the team has gotten, even though the 27th seems to be an impossibility. Anyway, of all the famous Yankees who are crowd favorites, I'd say that Donnie is the most famous of them all who's never gotten a ring, nor is he likely HoF worthy. Well, certainly not the top-tiered that Gehrig, Teddy, JoeD, Foxx and others are.

He's also a very classy and humble human being who's been a model citizen on and off the field, including after his playing days were over.

I was an umpire (blue) and referee (zebra) for 44 years. Hence, "bluezebra".

I'm an Expos fan living in Ontario. Most of the Expos fans on BF are from Montreal or Quebec. I was living in Ontario at the time. I'm not very imaginative.

By the way, very cool picture with Roger Waters, I'm part of the new generation of Pink Floyd Fans.
