  • Best Season of Lowest Stats

Take a player's lowest single-season stats and combine them to make one season.

Example: A player plays three seasons with these avg./hr/rbi totals:
    .303/32/104
    .290/40/110
    .310/38/92

His combined lowest season would be .290/32/92. Get it?
Try to find the best season you can.

Oh, and there should probably be a minimum game limit, say, 100?

It would be pretty hard to beat Ichiro's:
    Games-157
    Avg-.303
    H-206
    2B-20
    3B-5
    HR-6
    RBI-49
    RS-101
    TB-275
    SB-31
    BB-30
    K-77

      Pujols has:
      AVG: .314
      HR: 32
      RBI: 103
      H: 177
      R: 99
      OBP: .394
      OPS+: 151
      SLG: .561
      TB: 321

Thats a pretty good "worst season stats" record, and last year was an "off" year by his standards.

        Babe Ruth:

        .288 BA
        .430 OBP
        .537 SLG
        105 H
        84 RBI
        22 HR

Keep in mind this includes an entire career. All but one of these stats are from 1934, the second last season of his career (last as a Yankee). Still pretty good for his worst possible season ever.
