He's a ballplayer. Nothing really new to see here unless McCready was indeed underaged when their relationship became physical. Ballplayers and non-ballplayers alike have these issues. Everyone could use some help.

Not in baseball. I've heard about it once in the NFL, but some of these guys may take the whole lifestyle thing anyway.

These guys are young, wealthy, attractive and in great shape. The travel around the country, so I think that, while I certainly don't support such actions, it's not too unheard of, nor even unexpected, that guys may get into this kind of thing with different women.

People say that pitchers have some of the most unusual (read, very interesting, but not necessarily of the good kind) personalities, sooooooooo ... their moral values may not necessarily equate with everyone else's. Or at least those that people display in public, anyway.

Either that or those are his types of people. Everyone relates better to some particular type of person. To each their own, but he could at least try dealing with adults, rather than underaged girls.

Not really. I honestly don't think he cares about Boston or ten+ years of bitterness about a player who was essentially shown the door anymore.

Roger will be wearing the NY cap when hes inducted...as much as he was the face of the Sawx in the late 80`s ( along with Boggs ) he had a hard time in Bawston

back to the thread, i think Rogers hard done too...if he was in europe it wouldnt have been news..hell its legal in Holland when your 14 ( and over here at 16 )
