I remember the first time I went to cooperstown when I was a kid, my sister worked across the street from the Hall of Fame as a bartender at the VFW and she put the TV on for me and this came on, it was a weird conwincidence.

1 was watching nikelodeon this morning with my youngest son ( ibest thing about having kids is the excuse to watch cartoons
)..it was the fairy odd parents episode where the kids playing baseball against the bankees

I was in Cooperstown last summer. i visited the wax museum and went to a portion where there was about fifteen seats and then a screen with a movie playing (like a miniature movie theater). There was about four people sitting, including a wax dummy. I found it very clever, it being a wax museum and all. I went to go touch it. i wasn't three inches away from it when it moved. I found out that it was a real guy who for what ever reason had sat absolutely still. He looked at me funny and I told him what happened. We both had a good laugh about.

I love the punchline in this. Remember when watching this that it was made in 1952, this would probably never make it in today's world.
Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.Comment
