I went to my first game in 1979 at Old Comiskey and went to my last game 2 weeks ago. I've probaly gone to 10 or 11 different parks along the way. With the last stadium besides U.S. Cellular being the Brewers park when they clinched thier division last year.

    1. Comiskey Park
    2. Veterans Stadium
    3. Wrigley Field- I use to come here alot as a kid because brother and grandfather liked the Cubs. Grandfather from mothers side was a NorthSider.
    4. Dodger Stadium
    5. Jack Murphy Stadium
    6. Busch Field
    7. Candlestick Park
    8. The Cinncinatti Reds stadium in late 80's
    9. Oakland Stadium (in1994) Cant remember the name
    10. Tiger Stadium---I went there in the 80's as a kid.
    11. County Stadium
    12. Miller Park---one of my favorites actually
    13. U.S. Cellular----I go here maybe 5 or 6 games a year. I used to think it was ugly when it first opened but I actually enjoy myself here alot more. I like the tailgating alot here.

The poll should be 8 or 9 actually because I think John Shoemaker and Leewiley have been to games in the 30's and 40's.

If we count 2010 as the first year of the decade (and please, let's not have that debate for the umpteenth time on this board), my total is three. I have been to two pro baseball games in Korea in the last year, for what it's worth.

I thought about including 8, but chose zero instead. Not everyone lives close to a MLB park, or even in North America for that matter. Mods feel free to add 8 I suppose...

It's pretty weird, since I'm "only" 65, but I've seen games in 7 decades- the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and now 10s. The first game I saw was in August 1957 at Forbes Field. The most recent was opening day this year at PNC Park. I've seen games in about a dozen ML parks, plus 5 or 6 Minor League parks.

My first game was in 1927 at Yankee Stadium when I was 8 years old - that would make 10 decades.

Wow thats even more amazing to have seen the 27 Yankees. I thought maybe you had seen Ruth when he was at the end of his career. I remember you wrote once your father actually saw Ruth pitch in his prime.

I think if i live to be in my 90's the best player I could claim to see in person at a young age would probaly have to be Mike Schmidt or Pete Rose.

I thought my 7 was impressive. I bow in the presence of greatness.

6 decades for me. First game was sometime in the mid-60s, Mets game at Shea Stadium. Went to several games, wasn't interested in baseball, mainly liked eating hot dogs and looking at the beautiful R-36 World's Fair subway cars on the 7 line (which is why I hoped that we sat on the 3rd base side). The 1969 World Series changed all that I went fairly often in the 70s, 80s and 90s (though there were times that I went several years without attending a game). I've only been to one game so far in the 2010s, and since I refuse to go down to North Cuba, er Little Havana to see the Marlins play, it may be awhile before I attend another.
