  • Worst batting stance?

    For me it begins and ends with youkilis...what is with the hands on the bat? What purpose does it serve? I would think at some point some coach would have said "what the hell are you doing?"

    It is bizarre, but stats do seem to prove his madness: Kevin Edmund Youkilis (Youk or The Greek God of Walks)

      Aaron Rowand looks like he's taking a dump.
      Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

      If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

                  I think alex buccilli's is worse. Of course he's not in the majors yet.

                  Julio Franco's used to look bizarre as well;

                        I would say "worst" is not the right word for the thread

                        if it works for the hitter it works

                        a better word would be weirdest or oddest

                              I had heard that Kevin does it because it keeps him from squeezing the bat too tightly. Just what i had heard from a broadcaster or tv analyst or somebody.
