  • Shatner at Dodger Stadium

Any particular reason William Shatner wore Sandy Koufax's number (32) when he threw out the first pitch? Is The Shat a Dodgers fan?

I'm actually amused that he's still relevant to people. Has he done anything in the last 20 years other than priceline commercials?

Ever hear of The Practice and Boston Legal? Shatner was nominated for 5 Emmy's in the last 10 years.

He's also an accomplished Sci-Fi novelist. He's written over 40 books.

You're kidding right? with the acting stuff? He's a stiff.

His books will sell because there are some (actually alot) who think he's actually walked in space. He's probably the worst actor this side of Jim Varney IMO.

I'm actually an older guy who's seen the Star Trek stuff and his run at TJ Hooker... He's brutal. He can't act his way out of a wet bag and even though I haven't read his books, that's not what he's held in such high regard for. I've been to some of these Sci-Fi shows in Philly and NY... it's twisted how he's held as a major icon. Maybe I just don't get it.

Dude! TJ Hooker rocks! No one does a cop hood slide like Shatner!

Do you remember his "singing?" Shatner put out an album in 2004 and again last year.

Yep yep I got it... apparantly the OP went over my head. Bill Shat is the new Chuck Norris. Or can anybody really replace Chuck Norris?

I actually really liked him in Boston Legal. He was a weirdo but he was pretty funny in that show.
