    What do you think???
One for relievers, and another one for closers.

Reason Griffey wasn't on my list: His fielding was so bad last year that it virtually negated his offensive contribution, i think a corner spot is the best place for him at this point.

    For Evnagelion and Astro

    ON PIERRE:

Call me crazy, but I love a guy ... on any part of the diamond ... that can post over 200 hits and 100 runs three times in 5 years, steal at least 40 bases a season ... and has lifetime batting average over .300. Sure, his OBP and his walks could be a bit higher. Yet, the trade off is that he doesn't strike out a lot, which means - for a guy with his speed - putting contact on the ball increases the probability that he will get on base. He may have had an "off" season last year. But, 57 stolen bases, 13 triples (career high), 181 hits and 96 runs isn't bad for what evangelion calls a "horrid" season. Plus, he has played in every game the past three seasons. Brady Clark had a higher batting average last year than Pierre, but only 2 more hits, 8 more rbis, 47 less stolen bases - while being caught more than he stole - 10 more strikeouts, 2 less runs, 6 more walks, 17 less games and a OBP that is .46 points higher. That was Clark's BEST season....which do not compare to Pierre's best seasons. How people rank players so high after one season is beyond me.

As for power ... he's a leadoff hitter. True, his arm is a liability ... but, his speed makes up for it.

Oh, I did have him 4th ... but, Beltran has some things to prove still. He's inconsistent at this point.

The DH thing is no competition. it's only a race for numbers 2-10, since even Yankee fans will have to honor Big Papi.

For relievers, would you consider separate ones for closers and setup men? I'm wondering if both could be acknowledged. If not, then relievers would logically (well, my logic, anyway) only have to include closers.

For starting pitchers, I think that would be great.
