Marlins by a long shot. The Sox are the defending champions, so you can't rule them out. They also made some nice additions. Bonds will keep the Giants in contention as usual. I can't really see Seattle contending, but the Marlins have less of a chance than the Mariners.

It's probably wishful thinking on my part, but Seattle has made some good moves this offseason (except for Everett, who I don't think will contribute much....look for him to be traded haflway through the season) I'm likng the new catcher, and Jarrod Washburn has some stuff, if he can get it back."He can get 10 hits in five at-bats." -Joe Torre, exasperated after seeing Ichiro hit a routine ground ball to shortstop and cross first with an infield single.sigpic
