But isn't this poll for the best Left fielders right now?

If this poll if for the best left fielders right now, then you can't rank Dunn or Cabrera since they are no longer left fielders right now. I rank my players by last year performance, possible performance in left field next year and career consistency. I take other factors into, but those are the factors I take into consideration the most.

Rameriz's fielding might not be able to field well, but positive of playing in Boston is playing shallow and being able to have outfielder's assist, which Rameriz tend to get quite a few in Fenway.

Fair enough. But isn't this poll for the best Left fielders right now? Have you seen Barry play now? How can you assume he won't be good, of course he won't be as good but ranking Carl Crawford above one of the greatest doesn't seem to logical, especially since you haven't seen Bonds play lately.

Well, on the same hand, if he hasn't seen him play lately, how does he know the 41 year old is going to be as good as he was before?

2005 Barry? You mean 14 games played after 10 months of inactivity Barry? How can you judge him by that?

If this were based upon 2005 only, Barry wouldn't even make the top 10. If this were based upon a 3-year span or, as mentioned, his noted 2001-2004 numbers, he'd definitely be #1 merely for his offense.

Speaking of offense, I guess that people are taking that primarily into effect, since Manny isn't exactly the best defensive person out there, but Red Sox fans will live with his offense due to what he brings tremendously to the plate. Besides, there's only one DH allowed per team, and we already know who their DH is.
