    2) Reds LF Adam Dunn says he had a hairline fracture in his right hand for most of last season. He initially suffered the injury when diving into 3B in May and was later hit by a pitch in the same area. Last week, the doctor recommended a split but, even though it still hurts, Dunn refused.

    I'm glad my boys signed Ellis. He's a solid second baseman who's starting to hit for average. Two good roster moves by my man Mr. Beane in the past few weeks.
