    1) According to the NY Daily News, Yankees P Mike Mussina says he would like to re-sign with the Yankees. Mussina will be a free agent at the end of the season and would be interested in talking about an extension now, but GM Brian Cashman might prefer waiting until after the season.

    3) Rangers hitting coach Rudy Jaramillo was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He will have surgery later in spring training. Jaramillo will be with the team until the surgery and plans to be back by Opening Day.
