Pujols got his 1993rd RBI, passing Ruth on the official list, beginning in 1920, though Ruth's total in years previous to that puts him much higher.

200 wins should punch the Hall ticket for Greinke. He also has a good chance at reaching/breaking:
              • 2500 Ks (this one he'll definitely get, he's 33 off atm)
              • 2800 IP (needs 108)
              • 6 top-10 finishes for CYA voting...
              • ...maybe a fifth ASG too.
              • and nine 15-win seasons.

With Nine 15 win seasons....Greinke is taking a page out of Greg Maddux's book, who set the record for most 15 Win seasons. Maddux also set the record for 19 Win seasons with five. He reached 20 wins twice early in his career. Although Greinke never had a 20 Win season he did have an amazing 19-3 season once. I wouldn't rule out Greinke winning 20 games this year. He is off to a 3-1 start. That would really be the cherry on top of the Sundae, if he ever finally reached 20 wins, especially this late in his career. He will reach 20 for sure if he helps himself out swinging the bat like he did a week or two ago when he hit two home runs in one game.
Greinke has an impressive career winning percentage too. His 190-119 lifetime record is good for a .615 career winning percentage, which is better than many HOF pitchers.

C.C. Sabathia is 6 strikeouts from 3,000. He pitches tonight vs. Angels. Pujols needs 1 RBI to tie Lou Gehrig for #4 all time (1,994).

Sabathia is already 3rd all time in strikeouts by a lefthander, behind Randy Johnson and Steve Carlton. He is 1st all time in strikeouts by a lefthander in the American League.
                    My top 10 players:

                    1. Babe Ruth
                    2. Barry Bonds
                    3. Ty Cobb
                    4. Ted Williams
                    5. Willie Mays
                    6. Alex Rodriguez
                    7. Hank Aaron
                    8. Honus Wagner
                    9. Lou Gehrig
                    10. Mickey Mantle

                      Milestones - April 24, 2019:

Getting It Done: Adam Wainwright earns his 150th career victory (All with the St. Louis Cardinals).
Ian Kinsler (Padres) his his 250th career home run.

Getting Close: Albert Pujols (Angels) RIPS TWO SNGLES TO LEAVE HIM ONE BASE HIT SHY OF 3,100 CAREER HITS.
C.C. SABATHIA (Yankees) is able to strike out only three Angels and that leaves him three strikeouts shy of the 3,000 Ks milestone. He now has 2,997 MLB career Strikeouts. Sabathia's next chance to reach the 3,000 Strikeouts Career milestone is likely to occur on April 30.

Also on April 24: Miguel Cabrera (Tigers) got his 2,700th MLB career Hit.
Cabrera is the major leagues active player leader in career batting average, among players who have at least 1,000 hits. He edges out Jose Altuve (Astros).for the lead by a .316 to .315 margin.
