I'm really sorry about your dog or your girlfriend, or whatever it was that caused you to hate him so much. Because I would figure such animosity would have to be based in an actual event and not some imagined slight taken way too personally than it needs to be.

i dont hate clemens, i just strongly dislike him. guy's who illegal drugs, lie about it, and post artificial numbers are despicable to me. not to mention the other ridiculous things he's done. throwing a bat at piazza...claims he would of beaned hank aaron to show him how valuable he was...makes racist comments towards asians...complains about carrying his luggage on road trips...and then using a phonecall that he was supposed to return to brian mcnamee's sick son as a setup to try and "change mcnamee's mind". the guy is a flat out prick...and it's about time he faces up to his own actions. it doesnt help that espn has constantly thrown him in our faces over the years...praising him acting as if he was god's gift to baseball. what a crock.

i dont pity him. he's a liar, criminal, and a cheat. guy's like him and barry bonds deserve no sympathy.

McNamee must be a weirdo or something holding onto needles for that long. I can sorta see why he did it though. To catch the cheats out I suppose. Maybe he thought this day would come?

What's to say that McNamee, whom I believe his own lawyers have said is very knowledgeable about PED usage, didn't add the HGH and/or steroids after Clemens had used this?

I've never once heard of anyone holding onto blood-stained syringes or gauze pads. Clemens' lawyers should simply ask McNamee if he has similar items from other players, including Pettitte and his other clients. If not, then that would be highly suspicious to me.

Clemens may need to hire a DNA specialist, likely to show whether or not the PEDs were there when the gauze pads and syringes originally came in contact with Clemens.

How much "leftover" evidence of the PEDs are even there when one gets injected in the glutes anyway? This whole thing seems really weird to me.

or someone much smarter than people give him credit for. It should be very interesting to see how this plays out.

We just have to wait and see what develops. Claiming something and it being true can be two different things. Remember there are lawyers involved.

I think Clemens is toast, in my honest opinion. If this evidence is solid, this makes it impossible for him. McNamee held onto these things because he probably knew this was coming.

A little long don't you think? It makes me wonder, why would you hold onto needles and gaus padding if you didn't plan on using it later on in life? Who knows, perhaps he was saving it just in case this situation came up. Very wierd though, extremely strange.

I would be surprised if the needles hold up in court. There is little if any proof that the needles hadn't been tampered with over the last five years. McNamee has been watching a little too much CSI and Cold Case.

There is no way that will hold up in court. There are too many ways that the evidence could be tampered with.

What happens if this stuff doesn't match Roger Clemens? What happens to McNamee? Wouldn't that be lying to claim to have evidence?

This isn't a criminal case. The standards are not as tight in civil court. Granted I haven't seen the evidence, but if it is what I think it is then it would admissable.
