Arizona won the National League Western Division in 2007 and is viewed as a team with great potential for 2008, but like most teams, the Diamondbacks have some problems.

I'll say Arizona has some problems:
- They have Randy Johnson
- No closer
- No depth on their bench
- They never know if Stephen Drew will show up or not
- They strike out too much
On the flip slide, Haren & Webb will pull about 40 wins in... The team has great speed, and outside RJ, they are fairly young. I think they can still take 2nd in the NL West.WAR? Prove it!

LG, that blog post has more discussion about Mets players like Carlos Beltran than they do about Yankee players like Melky Cabrera.
If the Yanks would beat the D-Backs in the WS, if that's what you're saying, then why all the threads about the Mets beating LAD?Please read Baseball Fever Policy and Forum FAQ before posting. 2007-11 CBA

The link he posted is about the New York METS and the Arizona Diamondbacks, it has nothing to do with the Yankees...are you looking at a different link or did he originally post a different link?"He can get 10 hits in five at-bats." -Joe Torre, exasperated after seeing Ichiro hit a routine ground ball to shortstop and cross first with an infield single.sigpic

I am comparing the Mets with the pretenders to the NL pennant. I began with LA, have finished Arizona, and am working on SD. I will follow that with Denver, and then go the Central, and finally, to the East.
The Yankees are not involved, except peripherally.Baseball articles you might not like but should read.
