  • ESPN: Quite Frankly w/ Stephen A. Smith - WBC Show Free Tickets!!

    Hello-

My name is Brian Dunphy and I am an audience producer for ESPN2's show Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith.

The reason that I am contacting you is that we have just been notified that we will be having a Special World Baseball Classics show on Monday, March 6 at 6:30pm.

Whether you love the WBC idea or hate the idea, we want you in our audience that day. Guest will be revealed as soon as we are notified.

We would like to extend to you and your website FREE tickets to attend the show. It would definitely be a great opportunity for some of your forum members to get together and meet up for an exciting sports show. The tickets are open to your all interested members, family members, or even friends.

Our studio is located in the heart of New York City right across the street from Madison Square Garden. Again the show date is Monday, March 6th at 6:30pm, with a 5:00pm suggested studio arrival time.

If you or any of your members are interested in attending the show, please call me back at 646-708-7105 and ask for Brian. You can also email us at [email protected]

In addition, please feel free to post this information on your website to offer all Baseball fans located in the New York or tri-state area free tickets.

    Thank you.

    Brian Dunphy

I'm reopening, unless the Admins say otherwise.

I got the phone number for the Stephen A Smith Show from the ESPN Zone in Times Square. They mentioned in the recording the same phone number given here, and I've called the phone number just to be sure, reaching Brian Dunphy.

It seems to check out. However, please remember, folks, you're on your own here, so the "at your own risk" thing definitely applies. ESPN seems a very credible organization, and do exercise discretion and wisdom if/when chosen to appear.

          That show sucks!!!

They are so desperate for an audience that they have to patrol internet forums and beg people to come...
          My top 10 players:

          1. Babe Ruth
          2. Barry Bonds
          3. Ty Cobb
          4. Ted Williams
          5. Willie Mays
          6. Alex Rodriguez
          7. Hank Aaron
          8. Honus Wagner
          9. Lou Gehrig
          10. Mickey Mantle
