  • What games are you going to?

Who already has tickets to some 2008 MLB games? I know a lot of you are season ticket holders, and if so, what games are you most looking forward to attending?

For me, I am lucky to have the A's and Giants so close to home. I am an AL Orioles fan and an NL Giants fan. Here are the games I am going to so far:

May 6th: Orioles at A's (gotta catch my beloved O's when they come to town)

June 1st: Padres at Giants (my mother and I love taking the ferry boat over to the park)

June 11th: Yankees at A's (the only time I root for the A's)

June 21st: Marlins at A's (taking the family to this one on a Saturday night)

June 29th: Giants at A's (Bay Bridge Series!)

July 4th: Dodgers at Giants (easily the biggest game of the year just by looking at the schedule. the rivalry on a holiday weekend, with fireworks...don't get much better)

That is all I got so far. Hoping to get some more Giants tix soon though.

With a new baby it's difficult to plan what I'm doing in the next 10 minutes, let alone the entire baseball season. Fortunately I'm based in KC so it's easy to get my hands on tickets.

I'll be at opening day at the K vs. the Yankees.....4/8/08.
I'll also be at the Braves vs. Mets on Friday April 25th.

So far I've got 25 games on the docket... 11 Mets and 14 Yankees. That includes an 11-game Yankee Stadium Fujifilm Holiday Pack I bought in December... 11 dates, upper box, for just $5.00 (five dollars) apiece!

Among the Mets games will be the final regular season weekend at Shea, all three games... historical significance notwithstanding, let's hope the team's performance is better than the final regular season games at Shea last year...
Please help. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer last summer, and now I'm in a position where I need financial assistance. For the full story, please check out my GoFundMe campaign at https://gofund.me/3874ea2d. Thank you.

            I have tickets to:

Opening Day, Monday March 31, Marlins vs. Mets in Dolphin Stadium - hope to see Santana!

Also have tickets to 2 special exhibition games, the last 2 exhibition games of the year, just before opening day, both are Yankees vs Marlins in Dolphin Stadium (not in a little training park), March 28 and 29.

All 3 of those games are within 4 days, gonna be a GREAT 4 days for me!!!!

Since I made an effort to buy them the instant they went on sale, I got club seats right behind home plate for all 3 games, really a great spot to be.

I wouldnt be surprised if the crowd was 80/20 in favor of the yankees.

Harder to get tickets to Opening Day in Cincinnati. One of my friends registered for the chance to win on reds.com and he won the chance to buy tickets.

Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.

Any games I'm going to are South Coast League Anderson Joes games.
46 wins to match last year's total

Definetely! You will have 6,000 Marlins fans and 30,000 Yankees fans, its going to be GREAT!!!!!!

The crowd will be a sea of Yankee clothing. I will be wearing my Derek Jeter Yankees hat, my Babe Ruth replica jersey, my Yankee watch, my Yankee pendant, and my replica 1996 World Series championship ring. This will be like being in New York, not Miami.

                        I think 6,000 is stretching.

April 19 - Rockies at Astros

I'm poor and can only afford to go down to Houston once or twice a year.
