And that has what to do with this season? Mota, Lawrence are gone, Sanchez is returning (if not on day 1). They've added other good arms in Wise and Register (who will return to Colorado if the Mets don't have room. Schoenweis if used as a LOOGY is very effective. Feliciano, Heilman and Wagner are all solid.

Well, Zagi, a reliever doesn't have to have really good stats to be useful. He had a WHIP of 1.084 last season. Sure, he might not do it again, but Timlin can still be a useful reliever.

Timlin isn't BoSox future! Ok, he could be a useful reliever but I should rather choose Aardsma.
He has impressed Sox officials with his explosive fastball this spring.
