Didn't think so. I'll see you again tomorrow night around the top of the ninth."

Jay Bruce is major-league ready and should be on the roster on opening day. Same for Votto. But Dusty "The Moron" Baker would prefer Corey Patterson and Scott Hatteberg.

It's gonna be a long season for you Reds fans out there.
    My top 10 players:

    1. Babe Ruth
    2. Barry Bonds
    3. Ty Cobb
    4. Ted Williams
    5. Willie Mays
    6. Alex Rodriguez
    7. Hank Aaron
    8. Honus Wagner
    9. Lou Gehrig
    10. Mickey Mantle

      The AL version: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?...=.jsp&c_id=mlb
      Jacoby Ellsbury, Red Sox:...

This energetic, confident 24-year-old has all the tools befitting someone dubbed The Natural. He won't hit for power...
You have clearly never seen or read The Natural :P

I kid... Ellsbury is a very good player and totally deserves to be on the list. Cracks me up a little that 4 of the 5 guys are AL East guys, and that 4 of the 5 NL guys are Central.

JR Towles would be in the NL.

I think you have Bruce waaaaaay too low in my opinion. He is almost universally considered one of the top 2 or 3 prospects in baseball.

Yes, I know, many writers put him on the top of the list.
I think he's unproven in profi MLB. Triple or Double A is something different then MLB.
