    Matt Holliday
Francoeur has the strongest arm though

Everything included, (offense, defense, age), I'd lean toward taking Sizemore.

Right now, when at his best, Beltran is probably the best player of the bunch.

Matt Holliday is a best, true. Ditto Vlad, etc.

But Sizemore and Beltran are Gold Glove caliber CFs, with major plus speed.

Is the question who is the best player who plays in the outfield, or who is the best outfielder just based on defence in the outfield?
Cause id give different answers to each.
Id say Holliday is the best outfielder, not sure about best in the outfield. Ranking players defensively is a bit of a grey area for me.

Sizemore at the moment. Rios should top the list in a few years.

I guess a definition of "best outfielder" wouldn't hurt.

in regards to: speed, arm strength, batting, and potential

If the power develops (I still think it will) Carl Crawford will be the best OFer in the game.

In short, the best all around outfielder? From fielding to hitting?

Let's try comparing players without names.

                        Player A (age 34):

                        122 OPS+, 6 HR, 37 SB, 115 RF+ (RFg/lgRFg)

                        Player B (age 24):

                        121 OPS+, 23 HR, 18 SB, 111 RF+

                        Player C (age 34):

                        167 OPS+, 28 HR, 4 SB, 105 RF+

I'll take... Player C for now. Let's see if Player B can get his OPS+ up.

... who did I just pick?

Let's just say that your opinion is not very popular. In fact, the two players you picked (Ordonez and Markakis) have exactly zero votes combined. The other one has more than zero. He has six right now, and is leading the poll.

Those three guys were not meant to be a comprehensive listing of all the players, just the leader and two guys with no votes.

Can we please use a REAL measure of fielding other than range factor? Thanks.

Based on 2007 numbers, I'd go with Granderson. Based on 2008 expectations, I'll go with Beltran. Great hitter, plays center field, and plays great defense.
